MY BIODATA
After taking the Web Programming 1 class, my mindset changed a lot. At first, I thought that creating a website was as simple as designing it in an editor app like Canva and others. But after a few sessions with Sir Andrew, I started to understand the basics of web development and how to build the structure of a webpage.
In the beginning, I didn't really understand what Sir Andrew was explaining because I had no prior knowledge about computers. However, the teaching method he used was very engaging. He always used Bible verses as motivation for us and connected them to our learning. We were constantly encouraged to never give up as future front-end developers.
After I created my first HTML file and it finally worked, I felt like I could follow this class well because of Sir Andrew's unique and inspiring teaching style. My first successful webpage felt incredibly satisfying. Besides that, I started to understand how a website works from the ground up, and that made me even more curious to keep learning.
During this class, I learned one important thing: web development is not about memorizing code, but about being patient, careful, and willing to keep trying until it works. No matter how many mistakes we make, we can always find a solution and understand things better. Even though I still have a lot to learn, now I feel more confident to move on to the next stage—Web Programming 2.
